Submission of documents
Documents are submitted to the dean's office at Faculty of Biology and Environment Protection (ul. Lwowska 1), room 129.
Required documents
- printed from IRK and signed application form,
- statement about choosing a doctoral school and one or two research projects (main and additional) from the above list,
- CV and a letter of motivation in English.
- information about previous doctoral studies,
- statement that the candidate is not a student of any other doctoral school,
- copy of the diploma of the uniform master’s degree or the second-cycle studies (or equivalent) along with the supplement or, candidates who graduate in the academic year 2018/2019, a certificate of graduation with a supervisor’s declaration that such a copy will be submitted by the date of announcement of the recruitment results. If the diploma is issued by a foreign university must be authorised/legalized,
- document confirming knowledge of English at level B2,
- 2 photographs + 1 in electronic version uploaded in IRK,
- list of achievements. All achievements should be documented:
- Scientific publications - a photocopy of the first page of the publication, the title page of the magazine along with the ISSN, in the case of accepted papers a document providing the ISBN, ISSN, or DOI.
- Participation in research or artistic projects – a statement by the head of the project that the candidate has participated in the project, containing a brief description of the performed tasks.
- Prizes and awards in competitions, exhibitions - a document confirming the competition/exhibition containing information about the range of the competition/exhibition (international/national) and indicating the people awarded/distinguished.
Candidates from abroad should also submit:
- copy of document confirming legality of candidates residence in Poland (e.g. Visa, temporary residence permit). Candidate will be obliged to show original document mentioned above,
- health certificate stating that there are no objections to undertake studies by a candidate,
- confirmation of insurance (e.g. European Health Insurance Card).
Limits
- without financing from external sources: 5,
- financed from external sources: unlimited.
Candidates without financing from external sources: should choose one of the doctoral research project from the list above, register in IRK and submit documents.
Candidates who have financing from external sources will be accepted on studies based on registration in IRK and submitted documents.
