Research career and academic work:

Bachelor studies (2012-2015) – Biology

Bachelor thesis – Natural compounds as insecticides

Master studies (2015-2017) – Biology, medical speciality

Master thesis – The effect of selected plant extracts on development of lesser mealworm, Alphitobius diaperinus Panzer

 

Research interests:

-substances with biocidal properties;

-bioactive plastics;

-biodegradable materials;

 

Research experience:

Participation in the research project focused on evaluating of the influence of granulate combined with carvacrol on insects and poultry; The results of this project are in the publication entitled The Use of Starch Granulate Enriched with Carvacrol for the Lesser Mealworm, Alphitobius diaperinus Control in Chicken House: Effects on Insects and Poultry.

 

Current doctoral studies:

The research work is concentrated on finding biocidal substances and creating active biodegradable plastic which can be used against microorganisms.
