The Summer Doctoral School is a new education offer for PhD students from Warsaw University of Technology and other universities of the European Union and Eastern Europe.
The aim of the school is to expand education in the field of WUT priorities and to improve soft skills.
The school provides 50 places for participants.
The school will have parallel tracks including the following topics:
- Photonic
- Bioengineering
During the summer school, there will also be a special conference part with plenary and poster sessions, during which doctoral students will be able to present their achievements and discuss them with colleagues from other centres. The possibility of direct contacts is also very important as it strengthens networks between doctoral students from Poland and from abroad.
After completing the summer school, the participants will receive 2 ECTS credits.

The registration opens on July 14, 2022 and ends on August 7, 2022 at 23:59 CET.

In order to register to the summer school Project the candidates are required to fill out the online registration form, to submit the online abstract which should be aligned with the thematic scope of Project: Photonic, Wearable electronics and Bioengineering and select that they have got acquainted with the Regulations and shall abide by their terms (online).
Additionally, the candidates are required to send a document certifying the doctoral student status from the home university which confirms the doctoral student status both at the time of entering into the Project and its termination to the address seed.mail@pw.edu.pl until August 7, 2022, 23:59 CET.
The results of the registration process will be announced on August 19, 2022.
The summer school is carried out as part of the „Smart Education for Engineering Doctors” project headed by Prof. Paweł Pyrzanowski, Ph.D. D.Sc.
The project is funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) within the STER Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools Programme.
Each participant of the project is obliged to sign the following documents at the start of the summer school:
The above mentioned documents will be handed over to summer school participants during the first day of the project.
The project participation is free of charge. Foreign students who have been qualified for the project shall cover by themselves: the travel cost from the country of the project participant, as well as the costs of insurance for the time of his/her stay. Organizers offer to foreign project participants free of charge accommodation from 11.9.2022 to 16.9.2022 (5 nights).
